First and foremost, I encourage you to think about and answer the following question in your own time.
"What does many are chosen but a few are called means to you?"
Yesterday, I attended Sacrament with the Young Single Adults who attended the Gold Coast Convention and I also attended Relief Society class with all the sisters who attended the same convention. Last night, I attended the musical fireside with the Young Single Adults who attended the same convention.
The musical fireside was powerful. I felt the spirit so strong. After the musical fireside, the Young Single Adults was I shared my testimony in front of a group of a few leaders in the Church and Young Single Adults. My testimony was short and powerful.
It was based on a scripture and shared about how dedication I am in the gospel. The scripture reads "for many are chosen but a few are called." I can relate to that scripture so much since when my full time mission papers got submitted because I know for myself that I did the right thing to submit my mission papers but knowing that I do not have a call, makes me acknowledge that I was not called to be a full time missionary at this time. That is okay with me.
I love keeping positive in all things. I continue go to the Temple often, I do scripture reading each day, I always have personal prayers each day, I always have personal prayers each night, I do Family History and I do other things to keep me positive. Being positive is a great attitude to have.
I encourage you think about that scripture if you are about to submit your mission papers because it is wonderful scripture to have as a reminder. Please do not feel discouraged if your mission papers got declinded because you must always put your trust in Heavenly Father that he has something better in store for you. You have to be patient, have faith and trust!
